Our Story
Hi, my name is Mustafa. I launched World Peace in 2015 as a clothing brand, built on the idea of spreading a positive message through apparel. That message resonated around the world, and the brand quickly gained a global following. It was an incredible journey—but my heart was always in hospitality.
I earned my Bachelor of Commerce, specializing in Hospitality and Tourism, from Ryerson University, and spent over 15 years working in the industry—across hotels, restaurants, and airlines. During that time, I noticed something missing in Toronto’s nightlife. Most late-night options revolved around bars, clubs, or shisha lounges.
As someone who doesn’t drink or smoke, I often found it hard to find a place where I could simply enjoy a night out with friends and family in a positive, laid-back environment. So in 2024, I decided to create that space myself.
World Peace Café and Eatery is inspired by my Middle Eastern roots and the same message that started it all: peace, unity, and good vibes—this time shared over coffee, a thoughtful food menu, and sweet treats. It’s a family-friendly, welcoming space where everyone can feel at home, day or night.
At the core of everything we do are three values: building community, creating a family-friendly atmosphere, and delivering great products made with care. And to stay true to the original mission behind World Peace, we donate 10% of all sales to a different cause every month—supporting meaningful initiatives both locally and globally.
